This is how the sofa of the future is imagined by thirty Italian and international high-end manufacturers, involved in a survey to find out the main transformations of the seating prince of halls, living rooms and clubs in the next 20 years.

The sofa–this is the opinion–will evolve aligning itself with changes in the way people socialize and enjoy public or private spaces and with the main trends already leading other sectors, between “hyper-customization” and new high-tech features. The research, carried out by Superevo, a Tuscan company specializing in innovative upholstered furniture for the furniture industry, was conducted on the occasion of the recent inauguration of the new production plant in Pontedera (Pisa).”
